Dating sites may be misleading. However, there is no harm in dating older women. What is more important is to ask your brother to meet up with this lady and have a face-to-face chat to see if there's any possibility in working on the friendship.

if your brother met an older woman in a dating site i think there is no concern in it when on dating doesnt mean your brother will get married and settle down, in a date you will find a good friend
one that you can talk to and out of it you will learn some experience in dealing with people

dating sites are for people with issues---that is why they are on the dating site to begin with---they can't deal with the real world or its possible rejection
how much older is this women? older women tend to have baggage and are looking only for a younger man to "rock their world" and boss around---they think they can rule him
i don't think this sounds like a good idea---however, if she is only a few years older than him than who cares---but, he did meet her on a dating site

It really depends on their ages and what each other plans to get out of something like this. Is he over 21? You have to watch out there are sexual predators out there, male and female. I don't recommend too much Internet dating, most of the time you don't really know who is on the other end of the computer.
