I need to know rules of medicare when a patient has a kidney transplant. I need to know sources also. Thanks?

I need to know if a patient is on dialysis does the patient still have to wait the 30 month coordination period even if the patient has a kidney transplant before the 30 month coordination period is up. Any help is appreciated.
