Hi,

I am a British Citizen resident and working in Europe.

Am I able to win the UK National Lottery?

What happens if I buy a ticket and actually win?

Should I give the ticket to a family member and ask him./her to claim it?

What are the rules on that then?

thanks

You can. Read the terms on conditions on website and on the back of ticket. There is no restrictions in terms of citizenship. You buy it, you win, you claim. You might have to pay some income tax or so in your country though. Never, I repeat, never give the ticket to your family member! There are enough examples where things like that went wrong, no matter how much trust:-)

If you purchased the ticket in the UK you have every right to claim, whether you live here or not.
