In my opinion, just because you don't go to church, doesn't make you a bad person. I believe that you can worship god in your own house. Some religous ppl think just because your a good person and do good deeds, doesn't buy u a ticket to heaven. But who are they to say who goes and who doesn't. If it was really like that, then pretty much almost everyone would be going to hell, but the truth is..nobody know's whats right, so they can't tell you that ur going to hell. Only god know's the truth. My only adivce to you, don't always believe what ur told. I think that's why their are alot of ppl out there that are confussed and lost. The thing i question alot is..some ppl say that ur ticket to heaven is through christ..well what about those ppl who died beofor christ was born?...are they in hell because they never knew christ..or they just floating around waiting for judgment day?

If you have acknowledged that Jesus Christ died for your sins, if you have asked God to forgive you of the sins you have committed, and you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour you will go to heaven.
People will be judged on what they know. If a person has never heard the word of God, but they are a good person at heart then they will also go to heaven because how can God condem somebody who has never heard? However if you have heard and you have rejected God the only outcome is hell.
Those are my beliefs as a Christian.

The Bible says that the only way to go to heaven requires perfection which only one was able to claim. And that is Christ because He was God in flesh. The only way that we can know if we are going to heaven or hell is by asking for Christ to save us.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are we saved through faith (in Christ), not of ourselves it is a gift of God lest any man should boast.
This is just one scripture stating that the only way is through Christ.
Jesus said "I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the father except through me."

I discern that you're someone who is experienced in the faith.
"NOTHIN' BUT THE BLOOD OF JESUS...."
There is only ONE way to heaven, NAMELY: to the FATHER and that is by a personal acceptance of, and relationship with Jesus.
Only by grace are we saved, thru faith--it is the GIFT of GOD!
Cannot be earned nor merited;;;;;; only BELIEVED. Genuine faith and belief IS backed up with good works, but good works alone
will NEVER grant entrance into eternal security in Christ Jesus, the Father GOD and the HOLY Spirit!~
Good day to ya!

Bible states clearly, the only way to heaven is through jesus christ, if you have accepted him & have a relationship with him then only will you enter the gates of heaven. Going to church will help by the way!!

The questions you should be answering is:
"Do I want to be saved as a child of God?"
and
"Do I accept the fact that Jesus died for my sins, then rose and ascended into heaven?"

If it were up to me, I would say yes! However, none of us can answer that for anyone else - only God knows the state of our souls.
Peace.

My guess is that only God knows, really.
But I think it's wonderful that you care for and enjoy others -- we're all his children, after all -- and that you have faith.
I wouldn't press you to attend any religious services, but I think it wouldn't hurt to check out what's in your area, now and then. You might find some place that appeals to you. :-)
