We Christians are so worried about what atheists think of us. Who cares? They think what they think, and that is there right. We still do live in a free country.
Besides, they are not the real threat. They are united only by their belief in lack of belief. There is no collective union amongst them. I’m not even sure you could get them to meet at the IHOP for breakfast, much less organize a real threat to Christianity. All they have are words. We can easily ignore their words.
The real threat is coming from the Middle East in the form of those who follow the moon god, allah. Here is the deal. The threat is on two fronts.
The first front; acts of terror against the West. We already should know about this. The moderate muslims won’t stop their radical siblings, so it is up to us to do it.
The second front; invasion of our western values due to political correctness. Of course we should NOT allow women to walk around in beekeeper outfits. But that in of itself wouldn’t be a big deal. It’s the issuing of driver’s licenses with FULL BEEKEEPER gear on! Are you kidding me?
Cab drivers picking and choosing whom to give rides to? Restaurants having lawsuits filed against them for not having special bathrooms for muslim employees to wash their hands and feet five times a day? Mandatory prayer breaks when the rest of us can barely fit in one or two breaks a day as it is?
This is the real threat. Let’s not allow the United States to become another Londonistan!
Moderate liberal Christians. Are you offended by the bluntness of this? Good. Now maybe you’ll finally pay attention.

I'm sad that only one person has been smart enough to actually understand the question.
Just to make it easier for you.
A. I'm not asking if muslims like me.
B. I'm not asking about atheist battle plan. I know that they have none.
C. I'm not asking if you think I'm neat.
Please try to actually comprehend this time.

I don't worry about atheists. You're right. There's enough going on in the world to worry about. It is their choice not to believe, does not change my world. Western Imam's need to speak up about all the wrongs going on.

You speak out like Christians are all good. You're threatened by another religion (the same for the last 1500 years I might add) that's not going to go away. What about these eXtremist Christians running around the country blowing up abortion clinics? The sooner people stop killing "in the name of Gawd" the better.
I believe in the general concepts of peace in Christanity and Islam, but past that you only have the killers and bullies who believe a 2000 year old dead carpenter who was killed by his own father, or believe a meteroite which landed, is a rock sent by Allah and must be prayed to 5 times a day.
No matter what religion you choose, make sure to give them some money.

You are incorrect that atheists represent an unorganized front. We have organizations, and many of us are working very hard to make sure that the separation of church and state is upheld in the United States, which is NOT a Christian nation and never has been. (I speak as an American.)
Further, your ignorance of the religion of Islam is pitiful. They do NOT follow a "moon god", any more than you worship a cross. It is a *symbol*, of which religion is full. They worship the same god you do, they merely call him by a different name.
You are also incorrect in your assertion that moderate Muslims are "doing nothing" to try to stop the minority of terrorist radicals claiming to operate in the name of Allah. Thay have taken public stands against this violence, reminding their brothers and sisters that the Koran speaks of peace and non-violence, and using force *only* in self-defense. Those Christians who pick through the Koran looking for words espousing violence are the same who chasten non-Christians not to take biblical quotes promoting violence (of which there are many) "out of context".
Muslims who live in countries such as England, Canada and the US are guaranteed the same religious freedom as those of any other faith -- the same freedom that you enjoy.
I am not a moderate liberal Christian. I'm not offended by your bluntness, but by the hatred it masks. I find all organized religion equally laughable. However, if you wish to extend religious freedom to one group, it must be extended to ALL groups. Unless, of course, it would be easier for you believers who don't seem able to get along with each other if all religion were banned. I'd be first in line to support that piece of legislation.
edit -- no, dearheart, what is sad is that your misconceptions have been appropriately corrected and still you will not admit that some of your presuppositions are wrong. If your basic premise is erroneous, anything drawn from it will be faulty as well.

"Of course we should NOT allow women to walk around in beekeeper outfits."
So you're against female beekeepers? Sexist. Why not let people wear what they want? Or does that offend your western values?
And what do you expect moderate Muslims to do about terrorism? Do you imagine that every Muslim has a private army and intelligence agency they can use to fight terrorists?

I read something really interesting today (and you will please forgive me if I'm a little off in the details, as the quote is somewhat removed from its original source.)
It seems Jesus wasn't so huge on evangelical zeal - by all means go forth and preach, but "If the people in a certain place refuse to welcome you or listen to you, leave that place." (Mark 6:11)

Christian evangelicals are "invading my western values" given their lack of respect for science and technology and their desire to drag the west back to the dark ages. Extreme religionist zealots of any persuasion pose a danger.

The real threat to Christians is that their leaders are fleecing them for money from the inside.
I'd get your house in order before you worry about externalities.

If you want to know the truth... We are not worried about you.
It concerns us that you haven't accepted God, yes, but that's simply your decision. It's when we are attacked for our beliefs (by impractical and trick questions) that we start expressing ourselves. When ignorance of the Word of God is shown, we offer clarity. If the clarrification is accepted (or rejected), then all is well. But continued attacks will call for more Words of God. It kind of drowns out the flames of Satan (in our eyes).
Oh. Don't think we are worried about nonbelievers. Concerned, yes. But it should be non-believers who should be worried about their lack of belief.
