It's an allergy, if it was a cold it would only last a few days.Antihisamines will help the symptoms but it's better if you can find out what you are allergic to and avoid it.
If it's mostly in the morning it may be that you're allergic to something in your bed or bedroom.

You could have rhinitis, which is a general name given to inflammation of the nasal passage causing sneezing, runny nose & congestion. This can be seasonal or perennial.
Or you may have an allergy to tree pollen as well as grass pollen, which can cause sneezing & runny nose right through the year. Alternatively, you could be allergic to household dust, dogs, cats etc. Allergies can come at any age, very mysterious.
If you go the docs, they can run an allergy test. They may subscribe you a corticosteriod nasal spray, which eases congestion & sneezing. Alternatively, if its an allergy the doc may prescribe you antihistamines to take every day
Good luck

You might try a saline nasal RINSE (not a spray) A full warm water saline rinse goes in one nostril and out the other. It draws out all the gunk and shrinks the tissue (like swimming in the ocean).
The buffered salt doesn't 'sting' as much as plain salt water. You can use a new method like Nasopure, or the vintage, Netipot. The special bottle and salt is about $20.
You can do this a often as you like with no bad side effects.
You don’t need a prescription for this therapy. So if you live in a state like mine, they’ve pretty much “outlawed” sudafed medicine. Drug-free is really the way to go on a frequent-use basis.

sounds like you have allergies, here is a list of the most common ones: animals, feathers in your pillows, dust, plants, grass, trees, dust mites, mold, food. So if you have cats, dogs, horses, that could be one reason, if you have feather pillows you might want to switch to a hypo allergenic type pillow, keep your home as dust free as possible that means mopping floors dusting run the vacuum over the floors, mold you will find in your bathroom, along your sealings around your windows, tub and shower. I hope that helps. Good luck!

You are allergic to the air that goes directly into your nose. As much as possible avoid it , at night keep your head away from the window even if it is closed, avoid staying outside for long. Take half tablet of PIRITON at night, you will be fine.
