Yes definitely. When we are not saved our spirit is alienated from God. This is what is meant by being dead in our sins,ie being cut away from fellowship with God. When we confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior our relationship with God is re-established and the Holy Spirit comes and lives inside of us forever. God is Spirit. It is the role of the Holy Spirit within us that helps us to experience God and move in His power and anointing. The Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God (Rom 8:16)

No, not if they truly want to experience Him. True knowledge of Him comes from the experience of Him and the desire to know more about that experience. However if one is just trying to test God (for purposes other than spiritual enlightenment), then they would need knowledge of the fact that you should not test the Lord you God (deut 6:16).
If someone truly wanted to experience God, they should just take a walk among his glorious creation and ask Him to manisfest Himself in their life. The experience would surely come...

Yes. that's easy.
Look at it as a profession... To be a home builder, you will need knowledge of it to experience the profession (in any aspect).
A prime example would be the non believers on this site. They have absolutely no knowledge of God's word (as shown by their impractical or trick questioning methods) so they can't experience God's goodness. Their loss.

no, a good example is the tribal communities in africa that have no words for war or selfishness. experiencing god is actually a quite natural occurrence. we use religion and philosophy (our so-called knowledge of god) to re - connect with god in "civilized" society. tribal communities are proof that this would be unnecessary if we as humans did not remove ourselves from the natural order of things (i.e. the food chain) to begin with.

No. Even after experiencing God...you will know no more than you did. God is beyond concepts...and knowledge of God is only accumulated concepts.

No, you can experience God without knowing Him.
One is nature, the universe... all things created.
Spiritually, God does answer prayers of non believers.
Sometimes in dramatic ways, other times it's not.
One can pray to ask for forgiveness of their sins, and ask that Jesus be their Savior, and then experience Him in their life.
Conviction of sin within your heart another.
God is willing that all should come to know Him.
To experience His great love and mercy that He has for us.
He is as close as the mention of His name.
