as i wear contact lenses so i was just going to wear them to the medical,but if i have to take them out im worried i might fail as i have very poor vision,but can see perfect with my contact lenses in.

The same as taking your driver's license testing ... you have to test both WITH your lenses and WITHOUT.

Then there will be a bit of wording on your record that requires you to wear corrective lenses at all times while on duty ...

All deparment have a requirement that you have a minumum unaided vision. It may be 20/100 with some depts, with others it may be 20/75, check with your dept.

yes, there normally will be an aided & unaided test. Its not a problem, provided the aided test is good.

i dont know why you need to do the test, once in you go deaf and blind and or wear blinkers

i would think you will be ok if you pass the test they give you thats it your in
