Yes.
Take long tranquil walk. In a soothing place.
Learn to relax,in a favourite place in a tranquil corner of you home/apartment.
If you believe in prayers do that. Or visit a temple/church/derga/mosque at non rush hour.
Most tranquil places have soothing sounds of nature to enjoy. At home it could be reading from Gita/Vedas/Upanishads /any religious material, or some soothing music.

The natural fix for anxiety is eating food, drinking alcohol or ice cream.
It is not going to benefeit you to get bad habits because the tune out anxiety. It is much better to use a drug like Xanax to stop it cold and deal with it while you have it under control.
I have used Xanax as needed ( not often) for many years and I have noticed it being needed less and less until now I need it very little to none.
Xanax saved my sanity

What is the cause of your anxiety? That would be the first place to start. Whatever may be causing you the anxiety, example: over working...then remedy that!
If the cause of your anxiety is dealt with , then finding a solution, will then you will not have the anxiety!

5-HTP is supposed to be a natural relief for anxiety and depression. I haven't tried it, but you could ask at a health food store.

Its natural to be anxious as human beings but the trick is not to let it affect your efectiveness as one! See for starters you can do all the best seller techniques....Yoga,Meditation,massage,exercise,right food......etc etc...but my firm belief is that its just one thing which works...Prayers!! yes the very feeling that someone will take care is a great placebo for anxiety:)
