I have recently started turning my life over to God, but I don't know how to give everything to him. How do I know what He wants from me? How do I know what He is calling me to do? Everyone says I will be happy once I really begin to do what I am being called to do, but I don't know what that is, much less how to do it. I feel called to do things, but they just dont make sense. For instance, I feel this great urge to move to Alpharetta Georgia, and pursue working with the Passion Ministries Group, but that would mean quitting my current job, moving my children away from their fathers, and me moving away from my own family. So how can that be the right thing to do?

Don't ask so many questions, and don't be anxious. You cannot hear that "small voice" if you are in a doubtful, frustrated mood. Sit quietly and relax. Think of NOTHING, and *let* the energies guide you. Don't feel like a failure if you don't get an answer right away. Sometines the answer is "wait"....

DON'T BE STUPID!! You are obviously going through a confusing, difficult time in your life... but "turning your whole life over to God", is not the answer. Believe me... I've been there. I won't pretend to tell you I know what's going on inside your head, but I know what was going through mine. You get told the same dogma over and over by religious zealots. They finally convince you that if you just give all you have to the Lord, your life will suddenly be sublime, and you will have all you desire on earth. I don't know a thing about the Passion Ministries Group. My "benefactors" were at the Florida Bible College in Hollywood, Florida. For a time I was brainwashed and lost all that I had. Finally, I woke up and realized what a sucker I'd been. My advice is to step back, take a long hard look at what you're being told and ask yourself if this is how Jesus would do it. Too many "Christians" practice their religion, but not Christianity. A true Christian actively, daily, performs those things Jesus taught and practiced. Things like, Love thine enemy, Bless those that curse you, give all that you have to heal the sick. Live as Jesus lived, with nothing but the robe on His back and the sandels on His feet. AND as far as I know, there have been only three people who did this: Jesus... Saint Francis of Assisi... and Mother Teresa. Everything else, all the churches, cathedrals, Holy robes and costumes, all the money contributed, is worthless, meaningless, window dressing. Oh, the people who derive benefit from this, the ones with the fancy cars and houses, the crystal cathedrals and the glib tongues would of course disagree. Live the best life you can. Do all that you can to follow the teachings of Jesus. And God will see your efforts and your reward will be there in Heaven. You don't have to give yourself to God. Just be a good person, help others to the best of your ability and resources... but don't abandon yourself to God. God doesn't want that.. believe me. AND Oh By The Way... I live in Roswell, Georgia... just a few miles from Alpharetta... It's a great place to live... but don't quit your job, and disrupt your family... It would NOT be the right or best thing to do.

Moving your family may not in this case be the answer.
For example, the wrong religion could make drastic mistakes innyour life and that of your children. Satan makes people think they are doing God's will, but he never gives a clear clue of what God's will is.
It can be known, and we can show you exactly what it is.

These doubts give you an obvious message. Just don't worry about God. The purpose of life is to live, totally involved in your actions and the things happening around you. If God really wants you to do anything for him, he would make it clear. Why would he want to make you so doubtful. Follow my advice and it will surely make a great change in your life.

Sister, To answer your question, I would first like to say, God never calls a woman into the ministry, By your question you must be seperated from your husband, If you have sole custody of your kids, then you have the right to move, if you don't have sole custody of them talk to a lawyer or the courts or even your ex, Get a signed written agreement & keep it the rest of your life, Because if you do not have permission to take them out of State, you can get into trouble. Now to answer your question, How do I turn my life completely over to God, Just go to God & say Lord, I have nothing to give, But Myself, So Lord I come to you, Just as I am, & God will accept you sister if you are honest & sincere & above all things wanting to know the Truth about God's word, Believe me, in my 37 yrs. of being a Christian, I have had every demonic spirit come after me though someone, But I know that I stand on that solid rock, I lost my 1st wife in 1989, She spent 304 days in ICU, I watch her die, & after her death, my mother-in-law blamed me for her death, & I had nothing to do with it, It was my oldest Brother-in-law that had to get on his own mother for treating me that way. She died from a simple surgery that went bad, But I knew I have done all I could for her. Just tell God Lord I don't have much, But I do have myself, so I come to you Just as I am. Then let God lead you & not people.

For me, it is a moment by moment thing not a once and done event.

When I have a decison to make, I present it to God and ask Him to make things really clear to me...by giving me a deep peace and clear direction about the circumstance. Sometimes the answer comes right away - sometimes it unfolds over time.
Ask for people in your life (your pastor, friends) to help you by praying with you ...
Sometimes God uses others to answer.
All the best.

My dear friend, I am afraid this is not the right place to ask deep questions such as these. I pray the Lord will give me wisdom to help answer you.

Firstly, you need to pray something like this: Dear Father God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness.

I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.

You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9 that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved.

Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved.

Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. I thank you Jesus that your grace never leads to license, but rather it always leads to repentance. Therefore Lord Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself.

Help me remain to faithful to You all the days of my life in order that I may receive a crown of righteousness and dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

In Jesus' precious name,

Amen.

Then, you need to find a group of believers you feel comfortable with and who will help you in your new walk of faith. Remember, not all churches are Godly so you will need to look around and ask the Lord to show you which church. There, you can find a leader to help you. The leader you choose must show the fruits of the spirit, which is love, patience, peace, kindness, etc. Ask him about deliverance (if there are any areas in your life you need deliverance from, such as smoking, drinking, etc.)

My friend, you need to spend time in God's presence every day. Just be still and talk to Him as if He were the perfect Father and friend. You also need to renew your mind by reading His Word, the Bible. Ask Him before you read it, to give you understanding.

And then...be still and know that He is God. Do not feel pressured to do anything. He will lead you to His plan for you in good time. He may require you to do nothing until you are firmly grounded in Him and this could take years even. Just be still. He will open the doors He wants you to go through. You will learn to hear His voice by being still.

Please email me at ccc4jesus@yahoo.com if you need further help.

This site is not really a site to help you my friend. Find a good pastor who can help you.
