I work for a company in a freezer warehouse. I need to know how long should i be in the chamber before i can go for a break and how long this break should be. What should the room temperture be in the break room. Should they give workers more than one pear of boots, gloves, ect. Is there any long term illness i could end up with working in this job.

Much depends on the overall temperature, condition of the warehouse and the equipment/protective gear they provide. Companies are not required to provide more than one pair of safety attire unless the old pair has worn out. The objective of a company is to provide the necessary equipment and gear for your safety and health. If in the US, they MUST meet the OSHA guidelines of doing so. Failing to do so can result in heavy fines.

Visit the Occupational Safety and Hazard website http://www.osha.gov/ to learn more. If it doesn't contain your specific concern, you can contact them and ask.

As for the break, breaks are an added benefit as an incentive to stay within the organization. Companies do not have to provide breaks for working adults on a normal 8 hour shift. The length of breaks therefore, is up to the company.
