This is ultimately your decision, but have you asked your future wife what she thinks? She might have a ceratin idea of what she wants your groomsmen to wear which might help you decide. Maybe instead of a balck tux your brother can wear a navy blue suit so at least your colors will be the same even though he wont be in Dress Blues. I dont know, but ask your fiance, she might have a better idea for you.

Good luck!

Everyone who is in the military should wear the uniform. You best man can get a tuxedo. If you want to set yourself apart from the groomsmen, you can wear a Mess Dress and have them in Service dress.

I'd leave it up to the groomsmen, honestly. Let them decide for themselves if they want to wear their dress uniform or not. I personally think they all should, but they might not want to. It will be okay if your brother looks different, but maybe one or two of the others will decide that they don't want to wear it.

I think if you are going to be in uniform, the rest of your wedding party in the military should also be in uniform. I have witnessed weddings were members of the wedding party included both civilians and members of the military. Your brother should were a suit or tuxedo based on you and your fiance's decisions on what civilians in the wedding party should wear. As for your military guests, it is optional for them to wear their military uniforms. Our guests chose to wear civilian clothes.

Do uniforms, be proud of the service you've given the U.S. If you are worried about yoru brother feeling out ask him about it. I wouldn't think he would have a problem with it.
