I'm 37 and over weight. This I know. I need to lose alot of weight and would like to lose some before the end of March.
Now for the tricky bit. I can't run because I have tendonitis in both of my achillies and when I run my knees also seem to give out on me. I have a membership at a gym but I start work early in the mornings and by the time I actually get home the gym would only be open for 15mins. So any ideas would be very helpful thankyou.
(Please no pills as I have tried them before)

I forgot to mention that I stand for around 7 - 8 hours aday and I only have half an hour for lunch. I'm in an industry that serves people and it gets very hard sometimes to leave the counter to get anthing to drinkor get to the toilet as I am the only one there.

With the exercise seeming to be a problem, you are going to have to focus on your diet. Try to eat a well-balanced, calorie restricted one of whole grains, fruit, vegetables, lean meat, and low fat dairy. Since you are pretty stationary during the day, and having problems leaving your desk, instead of telling you to drink 8 glasses of water a day, try to drink only water - no coffee, no pop. You may be surprised how much you drink (you may get your 8 glasses anyways), and you won't be adding extra bathroom breaks.

If you can't run... can you walk? Try for 15 minutes a day after work. Maybe bike riding would be an idea. Or swimming. What is clear is that you need to quit your gym and either join a different one, or funnel your membership dues money into in-home equipment.

Good luck.

Try spinning. No impact, and you need to do cardio for 3 times a week for at least 45-60 min, at a minimum. Some lifting would help as well.
Also, try a high protein diet and stagger you meals throughout the day (5 to 6 meals or every 2-3 hours)

Keep a modest water glass, which you have to refill often, instead of a substantial water bottle on your desk.

Eat a grapefruit rather then drinking juice; the fiber will allow you to feel full longer, and grapefruit is that can help with weight loss.
