My very best girlfriend is coming to town this weekend for 4 days. We've got lots planned, but since this is her first visit to the NW, I want to make sure we get in all the "must see" places in Portland.

We are the type of friends that have fun no matter what we're doing, so activites can range from $ to $$$$.

Remember, 4 days, and we have to have time to sleep! LOL

So far, here are some of the items on the itinerary:
Local auctions
Dinner at Lovely Hula Hands
The antique Expo
Saturday Market
Pittock Mansion
Multnomah Falls
Hawthorne
Dinner at Palmer House (it's my birthday!!!!)

Thanks in advance for your help!!

WHat about the new tram going up to OHSU? Mt Tabor in SE is really great with fantastic views of the city from the top. OMSI. The zoo. Saturday Market 's first weekend this weeken. Be sure to visit the little funky shops inside too! Sellwood area antique shops. etc.

I think NW 23rd Ave. would be cool with all the neat shops, also River Park where there are a bunch of awesome yachts and boats. And yes, the aerial tram is great, but it only takes 4 minutes to get to the top, but the view is super ! Have fun and HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!!!!!!
