why dont attractive white guys seem to go for asian girls?im a attractive asian female but everytime im out and like the look of someone they seem to go more for my white friends,what are they afraid of,my friends say im gorgeous and obv they dont see my skin being a issue but i think guys just seem to see my friends as being 'safer',im down to earth and not stuck up,ive never seen colour as being a issue when it comes to dating but it seems like i might have to start looking closer to home which i think is a bit dissapointing..

I think you've got it backwards, I agree that you don't see a lot of white guys with Asian girls, but in my experience it has always been that Asian girls aren't interested in white guys. I would LOVE to date an Asian woman—I think they are they hottest girls on earth! But where I live (Syracuse, NY) there is a fair sized Asian community at the university here, and they all seem very cliquish and unapproachable—TOTALLY disinterested in dating or even socializing outside their group when they go out. I lived in NYC for twelve years, and I also never had any luck with the Asian chicks there.
There’s also kind of have a reputation that Asian girls have that their daddies don't like it if they date non-Asian guys. I don't know if that's true or it isn't, but it’s something people think. Maybe guys are just scared. In addition to being beautiful, most Asian women seem very intelligent and motivated, and they sort of project an image like you'd better have your sh|t together, too, or you're not even on their radar screen. Could be a little intimidating.
Maybe you just need to break the ice. I bet any guy would feel lucky to be approached by you :) They might just not be after you because they think they can't have you.

My first thought would be that most people would assume that an asian girl would go for an asian man. So, although white men might find you attractive, they might think that there isn't much chance of a serious relationship, as most asians marry asians.
Just blend in and let any white guys you like, know that your family don't insist you marry an asian.

Not all Asian families are as open minded as yours, quite a lot of Asians frown upon an Asian - white relationship. That more than likely contributes why white boys shy off Asian girls.
I must add there are some beautiful Asian girls around.

If you say you are attractive then that is a plus point but then it is not the outward appearance that some people go for and you know it...I have seen gorgeous hunks go for plain Janes and it makes me wonder why...It's the personality of that person that makes people click...extrovert or introvert...but I think it is cultural.....perhaps they don't know how you would react to them....perhaps you may not be outgoing as they want you to be or perhaps you are shy and so are they... you need to know what your likes and dislikes are and match them up to people you think are 'your type'. You are looking at a needle in a haystack my dear and when the right one comes along...whamm.....you are going to see stars!!! So don't give up...take your time and smell the roses ....life is an adventure to be discovered and it's a big wide world out there....Good luck!

I think you're just fishing in the wrong pond darlin, I can tell you for a fact that to myself and most of my friends an attractive girl is great, an attractive asian girl is a bonus.
Frankly I don't know why, Asian women are stunning. What sort of age range are we talking here? Only thing I can think of is "clan mentality" for want of a better word.

Because its not the norm for an asian girl to go out with a white guy, Generally their parents dont like it> (You should know what I mean).
Personally I think its absolute rubbish, and its why we have so much hatred between each other. If everybody just got along and Parents/Reletaves/Friends Etc stayed out of our buisness then it would be so much easier.
I Asian girlies are fit, but never bother asking any out because then Im likley to get hassle from Asian Boys who think they know whats best for her.
Am I right?
