I need some spiritual guidance asap, and I don't feel I can go to my pastor for it, without my problem gettting out to other church memebers.

Doesn't speak well of either your pastor, or your church does it?

I believe that you should follow "jamustrip's" advise. Call TBN. There are also some other places that you can call 24/7 with pastors available for counseling.

Perhaps Yahoo Searching the following: "Religious Counseling". You will get a lot of results. Maybe there is one that you can rely on.

Good luck. And whatever your problem is, NEVER GIVE UP HOPE.

If you really don't want to talk in person I suggest browsing the internet for some Christian sites, a lot of them have great free hotlines to call

**edit: I looked some up for you

800 947 5433 (Life Today Ministries)

Best of luck

You should be able to counsel with your pastor with no fear of betrayal! I might recommend you find a new church home.
You can always go to another church and speak to a pastor there. As far as I know there are no Hot lines for spiritual guidance.

1 800 4PRAYER

It is the national prayer center and you can talk to them about anything and they will also pray with you if you ask them to. It is confidential and a free call. Call in the afternoon, its easier to get a hold of someone. Take care.
