The evidence is overwhelming. The scientific community is in consensus. And yet for some reason you deny reality as if you think it is a test of your religiousness. Can't you believe in evolution and god? I wonder how long after the great thinkers of the day agreed that the earth was round people still refused to believe it. Based on their religion.

Nope. It is a fact. There are a couple of holes in the mechanism, but the big idea is right on the money. There is absolutely no argument in scientific circles about it at all.

Oh an the round Earth. The Greeks calculated how round it was way before Jesus, so it was a couple of thousand years.

I believe in the coming generations you will see very strong evidence of evolution due to climate changes to a point it will be undeniable. However, there will always be those who would call it gods will, but the new generation of kids are being taught about evolution in schools now so I wouldn't be surprised if it will become more acceptable. Like you said, when the theory of the world being round people refused to accept for years; heck they imprisoned the first person who made the theory public. It all has to do with fear, and misunderstanding, even when the whole idea of GOD came around people went crazy over it saying it was evil because they didn't understand it nor did they want to. Even now, it is undeniable , I've watched over and over when priests go on about how it is not true and it is a sin; but when a scientist shows the evidence that is undeniable the priests are left speechless or they'll keep going on how it is a sin. I even suspect most of your priests believe in it, they just don't want to accept all because of fear.

However, there should always be that fear of evolution, I've always feared what would happen if humans had the ability to control evolution you may just the next super weapon. And, I am not talking theory it has been proven beyond theory that humans can control and personalize evolution only reason they can't becuase of religion putting it down. Which I'm not saying it would be totally bad if we could control evolution there are tons of benefits to

You know, I completely agree with you. There is a lot of evidence for evolution. I also think it is possible to believe in gad and at the same time believe in evolution. In-fact, I asked a question along those lines a couple of months ago.

In answer to your question, yes, you can believe in Evolution and God.

Why do people continue to have this belief that Christians are a backwards group of people, with absolutely no concept of scientific method or advancement? Could it be that they stereotype all Christians the same as the radical fundamentalists that the media loves to display?

i believe that evolution was bruoght on by god.do you know how a atom is? well our solar system is like a giant atom,i think that god is the universe, i think that all the solar systems are like our own atoms that make up our own selves .all the atoms if you can imagine, that are inside everyoneare just like the solar systems , all the atoms inside us make one person all the solar systems in the universe make up god i think its just to much for people to understand. and just like people get cancer in there cells ,all the solar systems ours for instance , can either be a good cell or a bad cell depending how our evolution changes us , the world as a whole, it will either be a good or bad cell and either be removed or saved just like a cold in our bodies we either keep the bad cell s which give us a disease and we die or we get rid of the bad cell ,fight off the disease and we live its very hard for me to write this down for anyone to understand because it is so vast but try to contemplat this for a minute

I choose to believe in evolution not becuz its entirely proved, but becuz its more logical than creationism...
Those creationist argue evolution by saying that how come monkeys stil exist, the probability to complex organism formin is very little, how come monkeys share 98% of our dna...bla bla bla...crap...
Ok let me ask you, you say these things are unbelievable...then how come God is believable? Dunt u think thats even more fantasy like? A man sitting on the clouds using his magic wand and controlling earth, and he has a son on top of it...lol...u mean this so called LOGICAL theory of urs make u deny evolution.
At least for evolution there was a man called darwin who played with birds to observe and logically conclude something, unlike creationism. So if you can say, creationism is possible becuz u believe miracles do happen, then why cant evolutionist believe in miracle? Yes, it is due to this miracle that humans formed...if it was creationism, why did ur Mr.God decided to create humans after billions of years after formations of universe and after millions of years after formation of earth? Perhaps he was bored with dinosaurs?

Unlike creationist im not blinded, Yes, there could be God, but evolution was and is his mechanism...

Beliefs just help people navigate the world. You could be a solipsist and believe nothing besides yourself is real. For the vast majority whether we evolved or were placed here by a giant hand from outer space is irrelevant to how we operate our daily lives. You and I prefer to draw our beliefs from what is most likely true. Others prefer to draw their beliefs from what makes them feel good or important. That's fine with me as long as they don't try to impose their beliefs on others.

i think one can believe in God and evolution.

i don't believe my ancestors were apes. if we evolved from apes, does that mean we going to evolve into something else in the near future? maybe we will start walking on our hands instead of feet or maybe we will evolve into birds.

if the big bang theory were true. than it must be possible for another bang and another world starting right now.

What proof is there that supports some stupid dead guys theroies when its obvious that god created things and that these "evolving" processes are just due to their imperfection not evolution. (there is no proof of evolution by the way just speculation.)
