Probably average about 80mph because of speed cameras and road works but would probably average around 97mph if roads are clear as the car feels very comfortable at that speed.

Most important thing is to keep a good distance between yourselves and cars in front. The worst are the tail-gaters when you have cars ahead and can't speed up.

Also - it does depend on your car too. If you have a fancy new car then you are safer at the higher speeds then those who drive old cheaper cars at those speeds.

They should limit speeds and only allow cars to be bought based on driving ability.

Like most folks, I 'blend in' with the fastest average, say 80-90mph. If it's a quiet, good road & the conditions are good, dry etc. anything up to 120-130. But that's with the stereo off & the radar detector on!

I would say on average about 78 mph.You tend to go between 70 and 90 mph on your journey.Never top 100 as this will result in a ban.

Average about 80. Often slower due to congestion, sometimes faster when road clear.

An average of 70 is good. What with roadworks and traffic jams it is not possible to beat this.

I'm usually around the 80mph mark - that's because someone once told me the police will only stop you once you're over THAT speed, not 70mph.
