If my boyfriend's daughter's mother is attacking me and my children in their child custody case, should I get an attorney for myself or what is the best way for me to document.

You’re boyfriends lawyer should be enough.

My suggestion,
-lay low and avoid all contact with the mother.
-Don’t go with your bf to pick up or drop off the kids
-Do keep a journal of all encounters with the mother.
-Be the adult, don’t play her game. Don’t yell out her, Stay cool
-Never say anything bad about the mother while the kids are visiting.
-Never say anything bad to the mother. Some one has to be the adult. It should be you.
- The mother should remember, its not about you, its not about her, its not about the father.
- Its all about the kids. The Kids and only the kids.
- The mother should have a physiological evaluation, and a drug and alcohol evaluation.

( I'm sure you mean verbally attacking you in the court room. Its common, some not so stable mothers get like that.)

Most definitely get an attorney, also you should have a hidden camera in all the rooms set up to prove your case. Or at least have a tape recorder record what is going on .
