No No - LP has 91,600 BTU/gal. To find the weight of LP, Water weighs about 8.3 lbs/gal. at 70F. The specific gravity of LP is 0.51. So LP weighs 4.2 lbs/gal.
Natural gas is rated at about 1000 Btu/cu ft. - correct.
