Granted, we need to take care of Her for our own benefit.
But Earth Mother has been around a long time. She is getting ready to do some major house-cleaning. And we
are going to be in the way!
We do more damage to Earth Mother on the spiritual level,
with our anger, hatred, and fear. Than any material pollution could ever do!

She will change. That's a given. Whether we can adapt, and survive, the coming changes is another quesiton. As sentients, our anger, hatred, and fear holds more weight than the anger, hatred, and fear of animals, but does any of that really effect Her long-term Being? We should work to improve ourselves, but we should also watch our own backs, because She will do as She wishes and we could suffer if we can't change fast enough.

Earth needs no saving. Earth will be here long after we are gone. But if WE want to stay, we need to change the way we are treating Earth, and each other.

forgot the spiritual rubbish, but the earth will survive until the sun burns it up in a few million years time. We wont be around, life will have moved on, in terms of species.

The Earth isn't going anywhere. She was here before us and she'll be here after us. But human beings can most definately make her uninhabitable for ourselves.
