i am looking for a recipe called shanton beef. i have checked all the stores in my area and can't find this recipe. i would like to make this and many other chianesse dishes but can't find a good chianesse cook book . there are many mothers like kung pao?

My search for Shanton Beef was fruitless. Try going back to the restaurant and asking for the recipe or a different name. Often they are helpful.

There are many, many Asian cookbooks available at bookstores and libraries. Google in recipe requests and you'll most likely find what you are looking for.
