It should be 2 to 5 years depending on the threat from Iran and the stability of Iraqi government. The US will have to create a treaty because of the alliance between Russia and Iran, every super power is creating pacts with oil rich nations, this will be ours. They have discovered new oil fields in Iraq that make this country more oil rich than Saudi Arabia.

Are you referring to the troops or to the US involvement? If you are referring to the troops, we will always have troops there and will likely have a permanent base there. As for our involvement - count on it being a permanent thing. We can't just walk away now that we have completely disrupted the country. It's a no-win situation.
