How would you answer it to someone with above average intelligence? Why does the qualifier "below average intelligence" even have to be put into the question?

Your simple friend makes a point. It's physically impossible for two objects to occupy the same space, so if anything other than God exists, God cannot be everywhere.
Have you asked yourself why you believe god can be everywhere?

I'd say," God is the Dreamer and we; each and everyone of us, all that is seen and unseen, are the dreams. The dreams are everywhere." Then I'd buy them some ice cream and take them for a walk in the park.

The standard answers are:(to be said with a profound and inspired tone, and if possible with rolling eyes)
God did it.
God moves in mysterious ways.
It's the Holy Spirit at work.
If the questioning persist then go on with:
If you have faith, you do not question. Questioning leads to heresy and we know where heresy leads...

Of _course_ a godbot is below average intelligence. That comes with the terrorism - oops, territory. My response would be:
"He sees you when you're sleeping and knows when you're awake? Is that why you pretend to be good, hoping to get christ presence?"
Of course, witticism will inevitably go over the head of the witless....

God is not only spirt. He is everything. He is in each and every one of us. Even in the most sinful man in this world. So, he is everywhere.

I would give the exact same answer to anyone who asked that: it is an article of faith, and therefore not something that needs to be verified through fact. God is everywhere because that is what you believe. If faith were factual we wouldn't have to differentiate religion and science, would we?

God can only be everywhere if God is everywhere, therefore everything. So God is nowhere, somewhere or everywhere, I guess.
Okay, that's not a very constructive answer, but it is true.

God is a spirit. And does not have a material body like ourselves. The wind is everywhere, but you cannot see it.
