it goes up and down. anyone have an idea what it maybe?

take it to a mechanic and have it put on a computer...might be a gas/air sensor...good luck

2 thing come to mind, 1sty,, idle sencer gone bad,, 2th a vactiom hose is eather broke are had a small hole in it

sounds like a fuel or dizzy problem. check your plugs or replace them. clean your dizzy car with emory paper rotor botton etc. Clean induction or carby with throttle body cleaner.
