The Sacraments are very important in the life of the Church and the faithful because Jesus Christ himself instituted these sacraments.
1131
The sacraments are efficacious signs of grace, instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church, by which divine life is dispensed to us. The visible rites by which the sacraments are celebrated signify and make present the graces proper to each sacrament. They bear fruit in those who receive them with the required dispositions.
1132
The Church celebrates the sacraments as a priestly community structured by the baptismal priesthood and the priesthood of ordained ministers.
1133
The Holy Spirit prepares the faithful for the sacraments by the Word of God and the faith which welcomes that word in well-disposed hearts. Thus the sacraments strengthen faith and express it.
1134
The fruit of sacramental life is both personal and ecclesial. For every one of the faithful on the one hand, this fruit is life for God in Christ Jesus; for the Church, on the other, it is an increase in charity and in her mission of witness.
Grace and peace to you!

The sacraments are very relevant and important today. As you know society is getting more and more evil. Satan and the devils are getting stronger and stronger. They are everywhere. In mass media, they try to seduce and mislead our children into becoming materialistic and taking on antilife attitudes. They are trying to fill us with wrong notions. They spread pornography, abortion, artificial contraception, promiscuity, infidelity, temptations, abuse, molestation, etc. The world's moral fiber has been weakened. The sacraments are there to restore the moral fibre of society. When we go to confession, our sins are forgiven. We begin a new life in Christ. Christ gives us a second or a million and one chances to get our act together. He reconciles us with Himself and with the Father so that we can again begin to lead a moral upright life. Left on our own we cannot live a good life. God gives us the grace to live an upright moral life. The Eucharist gives us the strength to fight temptations and avoid mortal and venial sins. The Eucharist gives us the power to love. The Eucharist gives us the power to become apostles in a world hostile to apostles. The sacrament of matrimony gives the husband and wife the grace to be faithful to each other until death. Baptism washes away orginal sin. If we receive it as adults, it washes away all sins including venial and mortal sins. Holy orders gives our brothers the power to become other Christs. Ipse Christus alter Christus. Annointing of the Sick helps us to prepare for our next life. If we are in danger of death, some even get healed because of the annointing. It can be received even if we are not in danger of death. Confirmation gives us the fruits and the gifts of the Hoy Spirit. It makes us more powerful witnesses of the gospel. The sacraments are very important and relevant in our daily life.

Sacraments are not on the bible. Those are just a doctrines from one religion which has sprayed all over the world but they could not imagine that they were lost on the supposed path which they should follow. Instead of following the very lighted path , they have followed the dark side of the path

"For as long as you eat this bread, and drink this cup, you do this in rememberance of me. For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup you proclaim the Lords name until my return"
This pretty much sums it up- read the Gospels, in Luke and Matthew its the bread, then the cup. In Mark I believe its the cup, then the bread.
