In fact Jesus invented the first firearms. The technology was lost for some hundreds of years after the first sidearms that Christ manufactured but they had guns all right. If they hadn't of gotten so drunk at the last supper the Romans would have been chewing lead for sure. Jesus and the disciples were crack shots and didn't hesitate to throw down a hail of automatic fire if need be, they were some tough hombres, sure enough!

Jesus knew his fate and when and how He would die. He would have no reason to carry a weapon as He was a man of peace.

Not at all, He was armed, and skilled with, The Sword of The Spirit, decapitating many a rebellious Pharisee,Fools, and demon spirits, with it's constant use!!!!

Considering that Jesus created the universe, and was obviously telepathic and knew what his enemys were doing- why would he need one?
HOWEVER, he did encourage his people to arm themselfs to protect themselfs after his death- he told Pete to "sell your cloak and buy a sword"- but the context it is in, The Son of G-d is telling us to prepaire for a bloodly, violent future
