I don't take drugs, smoke or drink alcohol. I also eat very normally, but I NEVER push my self just because the food is tasty. (That's what my dad does). Oh! And I also take a lot of nutritious foods. ex: vegetables, fruit, wheat etc.

Everyone thinks it's because they have a health diet, etc. It's more likely becasue they have small bones and very little lean body mass. Their body fat levels aren't that different from any other nation. An Asian could be obese and still look skinny, it's very misleading.

No offence to any Asians, but there are stuidies to back this up. Why do you think they had to lower the BMI criteria for Asians? Because they had more body fat at the same BMI as western women. So for an Asian, having a BMI of 17 is pretty normal and probably signifies an acceptable amount of body fat, where for a western women, it would be underweight and unless she was very small framed, would mean she had too little body fat.

So in essence, Asians look skinny because they are small framed with little lean mass. Some of them might be underweight, some will just be normal and some will even be overweight or obese and may not appear so to the rest of the world.

Their secret is their national cuisine. Seafood contains very little fats.

But don't you worry, with the arrival of McDonalds, uberfat Japanese and Chinese men women and children are becoming less and less something rare to see.
