I'm translating a text about an online game into Spanish.

In some part, it says (in a description of a kind of spaceship):

"...Advanced turret tracking, supreme firepower and extensive armour make the Imperial Cruiser the most powerful vessel build for mass production...".

What's the meaning there of "tracking"?

Thank's. I supposed that was the meaning, but I wanted to ensure it.

lain S: It's better written: "Seguimiento de objetivos" or "Fijación de objetivos".

tracking is like a missile that can follow the target, it tracks it, like the old hunters that tracked wild animals following their signs.

tracking = following the target

so, easier to keep the target in the sights of the turret

I think it means that the gun turrents will automatically 'lock on' to an enemy ship and keep firing at it as it passes by....ie. it 'tracks' its movement
