-mazel tov means?
Literally, "Good luck!", but it's also used in The sense of "Congratulations!"

-hannukah? i mean, xmas is the birth of Jesus, but wat is hanukkah?
It's the Festival of Light. During the siege on the Temple in Jerusalem, the there was only enough oil left to fuel the eternal flame for one day, but miraculously, it lasted for eight days. That is why Hannuka lasts eight days, and each day one more candle is lit (one on the first, two one the second, etc.).

-bar mitzvah?? and wat kind of occasion it is?
When a Jewish boy turns 13, he has his Bar Mitzvah. This is when he becomes a man under Jewish law. From that day on, he has to follow the relgious laws and fulfill religious duties like an adult. (That's why, on this day, a Jewish boy publicly reads from the Torah for the first time.)

Girls have a similar celebration at age 12 - it's called Bat Mitzvah. (They don't read from the Torah, though) From that day on, they are obliged to follow the religious law.

Before that day, they are considered children under religious law and therefore don't have to keep all the rules - for example, they don't have to fast on Yom Kippur.

"Bar/Bat Mitzvah" means "to whom the commandments apply" It's the male and female form, respectively.

-RSVP
"Respondez s'il-vous plait" - "Please respond". You put this on an invitation if you want people to respond and let you know if they are coming or not.

-Oy humbug
It means the same as "Bah, nonsense!" This phrase is famous because Scrooge says it all the time in Dicken's "A Christmas Carol". What he means by this is that Christmas, and everything connected to it, is just nonsense.

-mensh
It's a Yiddish term that comes from the German "Mensch". In German, "Mensch" simply means "human", but the Yiddish "mensh" means more than that - a nice person, someone who's decent.
