I have one cat that would do anything (beg, borrow or steal) to get "people" food. One of her very favorites is raw corn on the cob. I caught her stealing an ear of corn which she dragged into the other room to eat. She held the cob on her belly with all four paws and gnawed on it. It was so funny.
Cheetos (puffed, not fried) are another favorite. They are tossed in the air and batted around before they are eaten. (When I get new carpet next year, I think I'll have to get orange to hide the Cheetos' stains.)

My childhood cat liked cucumber and potato pealings!
My two cats now are the only cats I've ever had that don't really like human food. They both love tinned tuna in spring water and maybe the odd bit of other fish or chicken but they're not bothered about meat usually.
Noddy loves dairy which is bad I know but if you've had and egg (omlette, scrambled, french toast etc) he likes licking the plate. He also likes a little bit of cheese and the odd chip.
Monty likes parma ham, expensive taste!

Her medicine! I have to give it to her twice a day and I have to use an oral syringe to shoot it down her throat. Everything I heard on the Internet and the vet said that cats HATE this particular type of medicine, and we struggled daily with these routines. Then, she started showing interest when I came around with the medicine. I decided to try something stupid and just pour it on a plate. She lapped it right up and has been taking her medicine this way ever since. This is the SAME CAT who won't eat any people food; no turkey, bacon, chicken, tuna..... she ONLY wants her cat food and cat treats. Doesn't make sense!

nicely, for cat food, the organ aspects are rich in enzymes, as cats have a quick digestive gadget, and the enzymes interior the meals they consume make digestion greater useful. We human beings do no longer often consume those aspects of the animal, yet that does no longer mean we gained't. The food would be severe in protein and fat, yet after incidents of unfavorable human beings eating cat and canines food circulated various years in the past, animal food has grow to be greater sterilized to kill any bacteria and germs. The supplementations and hint factors are extremely adapted for the animal, so their values won't tournament that for persons. i visit confess that various the purple meat cans have an aroma as solid as any purple meat stew for persons, yet I chosen to adhere with what's meant for persons. probable because of fact i do no longer desire to discover myself scratching my ear with my feet.

My 2 yr old persian absolutely loves mandarin oranges! She comes running into the kitchen whenever she hears the can opener because she thinks it might be her favorite treat. She won't eat any other people food either. She's such a strange kitty. I thought cats were supposed to hate citrus?

Well, my mum has 5 cats and a few have weird eating habits. One ate a strawberry tart once and one ate (now this is horrible, but it's true, I was there!) a squirrell!!! It ate the whole thing head first and just left it's tale and back legs. It looked like something out of Pet Semetary, I will never sleep right again!!

My cat loves strawberry pop tarts. Whenever I have them I can't set them down, or she will pick up the whole package and run off with it. She also loves noodles....I think because she likes playing with them. I am always finding dried up noodles in the house.
I also caught her drinking red kool-aid out of the sink! I guess she has a sweet tooth.

My first cat would lick salt 'n' vinegar crisps and eat raw garlic. My current cat is partial to ginger cake. It seems that all animals have some quirk when it comes to eating. My mother-in law's cat likes lettuce.

Dante is a beggar. Whenever we eat, he is right there begging for food. His favorite is potato chips or nacho chips.
Casey loves drinks. He will drink out of our glasses if we're not watching. His other trick is to take the straws out of our cups. I'm waiting for the day where he tries to drink out of the straw.
