I think he was taken from outside my farm on Sunday afternoon. He is a beautiful ginger Maine Coon cat (long haired) and is very friendly. I have tried local vets, cats protection, Battersea dogs/cats home, rspca and putting up posters. If he has been taken, is there much I can do??

If he has been stolen you must call the police. They won't do much but that is something you should legally do.

If he has not been taken far away he may well come home the second they open a door or window.

Look for ads in local shops and in free ads papers offering Maine Coon cats for sale as they may have known he was a purebreed and stolen him to sell him.

There's not much you can do if he's been stolen but he might have just gone for a wander, cats do that sometimes. I had one go missing for 10 days once. He may also be shut in somebody's shed so keep asking around. You seem to have done pretty much everything you can do, keep your fingers crossed and hope he finds his way home.

You don't say if he's been neutered or not but if not it's very likely, this time of year, he's gone in search of an in season queen.

Go to the police and give a picture and description. Also, post liitle flyers through peoples doors with a description, picture and your phone number. Posters everywhere and inquiries on the street, because people are often happy to help. My cat was stuck in a tree for a few days and we didn't know, and this man went up there with a ladder and got her for us.
Good Luck with finding him xx

Other than putting up lost notices and hoping someone turns the cat in, or waiting for it to return I don't think there's much you can do.

Hmmmm -- -- -- if he has simply gone off on his own he may return equally mysteriously - - - cats rely on telepathy more than sound, send a psychic plea to him - - - if someone did take him and did not harm him and if he truly prefers your digs to his new situation he will fight & claw his way back to you. Best of Luck..

Peace

If you are lonely, try to cheer yourself up. Pray that you will see you beautiful cat again. Wait for that moment you will see him. Like me, I lost my pencil case and prayed to see it again. The following Monday, I found it. So do my comment, okay?
