There is no way to predict whether or not you will have side effects. Everyone is different. Some people will have side effects, some won't. Only time and a few doses in your system will tell. If you will have side effects, it can occur at any time. It can be with the first dose or it can occur after 20 doses....if your body builds up a sensitivity to it.

Your main precaution is to be honest with your doctor about other medications you are taking. This medication is an anti-inflammatory drug/corticosteroid hormone. You should not take it with certain medications, an aspirin product or if you have an untreated fungal infection. It should also not be taken if you have certain medical conditions (cataracts, congestive heart failure, cirrhosis, etc).

You are only on the medication for 20 days so the weight increase is neglible (and usually lost when the drug is stopped). Unless you a have uncontrolled high blood pressure, you should not have any problems from the temporary increase due to the medication. Likewise, the increased sugar level should pose no problems for you. However, if any of these physiologic changes are causing a problem for you, you will develop one or some of the signs I have listed below in the last section. In that case, you call your doctor immediately.

Side effects include:
upset stomach
headache
dizziness
menstrual changes
trouble sleeping
increased sweating
acne
increased appetite
weight gain
These are expected but, if they seem to be getting worse, notify the doctor. Many of these symptoms will go away after a few days.

If you note any of the following signs, call your doctor immediately:
fainting
tingling/numbness in the extremities
easy bruising
black stools
vomiting that looks like coffee grounds
severe stomach/abdominal pain
bone/joint pain
irregular heartbeat
swelling of the ankles/feet,
difficult breathing
mood changes
increased thirst/urination
fever
constant sore throat
painful urination
visual issues

Well, are you in pain? That should be the defining answer for your withdrawals. If you have no pain, you shouldn't need such a high dosage and 20 mg should be okay. But, if you don't have pain and you are taking the drugs recreational, you need to rethink things.
