How do you feel living wit ur in laws? My parents in law and younger sister in law are nice to me and I love them too. However, I still wish that my little family could be on our own, my husband, 5 months daughter and I. My sister in law come to my bedroom very often without knocking even at 12 am, whenever the light is on. Am I too selfish? it's hard for my wish to come true bcause my husband wants to live with his family forever. Ask him to move out? I did million times but he rejected. :( I'm out of word.
thanks for reading

I feel sorry for you. My sister went through the exact situation ur going thru, it really effected her, their marriage, her relationship with her in laws. It was a terrible time for her she was depressed for most of the time that she lived there. Thankfully she managed to convice him that it was more harmful than helpful and they got out and now not only is her marriage 100% better but she regained the good relationship with her in laws again.
You need to get your own place, your space and live as a family together without the interference of other members.

You are not selfish. He can't expect you to live forever with them! I assume that you're living with them temporarily so you can save some money for your own place, right? You and your family need privacy and you aren't getting much in the home of his parents.

I'd find a way to force the issue. Maybe you can find a cheap place nearby? Far away? Hehehe!

Good luck!

This is one of many reasons why it's not a good idea to live with family members. I'd move out with or without my husband.

dont do it urself let the appropriate time come as it will for sure one day. tell ur sis in law to have some manners in a polite way so that it doesnt hurt her nor to ur family. if they r nice with u wat else u want in life? no son wants to b aloof from his family so better dont try as u might end up in being trouble for urself only. think the positive sides of joint families. god bless u
