iv been going out with someone for 3 weeks he has fallen for me, and i like him but the more he likes me the more he is backing off, when he is drunk he is pouring his heart out to me but when he is sober he has stopped talking to me, he has told my friend he feels awful for acting the way he has and is nervous to contact me but his head is all over the place but does not no why, he asks if iv been with anyone else and seems very insecure which he has never felt with previous girlfirends, iv not heard off him for 2 days will i hear off him again??.the first 2 weeks he was sending me roses and cudnt keep away but as he seems to have become more keen he has becbecome more bothered about me btu has gone more distant ending up now nothing at all

he is not an alocohoilc he drinks one night during the week and of a weekend when hes out with his mates.

maybe he's cooling of from you because he doesnt want to scare you off. Which i think when he's drunk and pours his heart out to you then sobers up he apologises to you for it.
Also has he been badly hurt before by the previous gf which means there could be trust issues.
Or he just doesnt know what he wants.

Lose this guy. Why do you want to be saddled with someone who drinks anyway. Get yourself a decent guy one who does not feel sorry himself when he is drunk. One who will care about you and not himslef. Insecure guys are the worst, jealous etc do you really want to be saddled with someone like that. I am sure you can do better. Keep well:)))

what kind of a woman with brains would even turn her head towards a man with drinking problem? i know what kind. the kind which will be physically abused later when she is old and has 10 children and is whining on internet i am physically abused, help me what should i do. dump this guy now, immediately. if a man is blabbering when he is drunk he is a future alchoholic

He is scared of being in love and he is all messed up. I think you should walk away. Tell him you don't want to be with him unless he gets his act together and start acting the right way,

ive been like this with a guy
back off a bit and see him come running, when he realises he may have lost you he'll come running
sounds exactly like my situation and as soon as the guy backed off i came running
he does like you ...just a bit scared of the situation
he seems a decent guy....you'll be fine
