i totally agree with you.
that is a big problem, not just here but everywhere.
if people would consider how their words affect someone else before they start ranting or bashing it would a much nicer world.
unfortunately most people don't do that.
all we can do is the best we can and try not to respond in kind.
fortunately there are those who while they may not agree with you at least disagree in a nice way.

I find your questions (implicit assertions) too general and somewhat naive.
Can an Atheist not believe in the spirits of the dead or visit the shrine to someone departed?
Your question incorrectly implies that all Muslims are terrorists. Deprived of their country, their property destroyed and their lives at the disposal of the occupying forces, hate can be the only enduring emotion of the Palestinians as any remaining objects of affection are likely to be destroyed in the near future.
Christianity is the greatest instrument of oppression that the world has ever known.

It is very difficult to stand in another's shoes when that person has alien beliefs or a greedy selfish philosophy that promotes only his or her religion, race, nation or sect.

Very well said. Problem today is that many people are not interested in seeing a situation from the other mans point of view. They do not want to see the world from a victims viewpoint.Do these people know the meaning of the word compassion.

Where's the compassion? I believe I'm looking at it right here.

Bless you Pangel! You always have something kind and thoughtful to say.

I too can fortunately afford shoes. But I enjoy wearing other's once in a while. Though I can't seem to get some to fit. Perhaps because of the holes in their souls?

I agree with you and as I saw here that mostly feel happy to tease other they have no purpose but hurt to other mostly use dirty language they show their family education if their family or parents teach them respect and harmony obviously they will be care full other wise you don’t stop them to use this kind of thing all religion has some rogue people every religion in Christianity in Muslim in Judas in Hindus etc it doesn’t meant that their religion teach them for this behavior but this is their individual attitude and every one represent his own thoughts then we condemn that Christians are rogue Muslim are terrorist judas are rude and cruel and what ever can say but actually every religion bas on love and peace and harmony but people don’t act accordingly we must realize that we all are belong to the adam and eve and we have only one god either I say ALLAH you say GOD or Christ and say Bhagwan or eshwer or all good name for this ultimate power so hope for the best to good attitude for every one wish you good luck …peace and love for all humanity

I'm here because I'm compassionate. I'm an atheist and I visit a grave to spur memories about the person who died.

Religious people are terrorists (not just Muslims) because their religion tells them that the world is evil and only their religion is right.

Religious people are gullible (not just Christians) because their religion teaches them to rely on faith, not reason.

And what you see as disrespectful, I see as being honest.

You're right. I have been guilty of it myself. Sometimes my attempts to be humorous overwhelm my sense of fairness. All I can say is that I am sorry if I've hurt anyone and I hope my humor can be taken with a grain of salt. My intention is often to make people laugh, not upset or denigrate them.

It is difficult to say I feel badly for writing terse responses to people who get their jollies talking about hitting their children (parenting), the hellfire awaiting anyone who doesn't believe in a deity or is homosexual (R&S), or despising immigrants (poltics- immigration).

Yes!!!
And I like what you said!!!

My People believe this! I don't think I can truly as the same about the other Religions!!!

Each morning upon rising, and each evening before sleeping, gives thanks for the life within you and for all life, for the good things the Creator has given you and for the opportunity to grow a little more each day. Consider your thoughts and actions of the past day and seek for the courage and strength to be a better person. Seek for the things that will benefit others (everyone).

2. Respect. Respect means "To feel or show honor or esteem for someone or something; to consider the well being of, or to treat someone or something with deference or courtesy". Showing respect is a basic law of life.

3. Once a council has decided something in unity, respect demands that no one speak secretly against what has been decided. If the council has made an error, that error will become apparent to everyone in its own time.

4. Be truthful at all times, and under all conditions.

5. Always treat your guests with honor and consideration. Give of your best food, your best blankets, the best part of your house, and your best service to your guests.

6. The hurt of one is the hurt of all; the honor of one is the honor of all.

7. Receive strangers and outsiders with a loving heart and as members of the human family.

8. All the races and tribes in the world are like the different colored flowers of one meadow. All are beautiful. As children of the Creator they must all be respected.

9. To serve others, to be of some use to family, community, nation, and the world is one of the main purposes for which human beings have been created. Do not fill yourself with your own affairs and forget you’re most important talks. True happiness comes only to those who dedicate their lives to the service of others.

10. Observe moderation and balance in all things.

11. Know those things that lead to your well-being and those things that lead to your destruction.

12. Listen to and follow the guidance given to your heart. Expect guidance to come in many forms; in prayer, in dreams, in times of quiet solitude, and in the words and deeds of wise Elders and friends.

This is what We Do and we would like some of you to walk in our Moccasins!!!

Hi Pangel,

The compassion is always here, but it speaks with a soft voice. Hate and fear will shout to make themselves heard.

To anyone who has been the target of hateful comments, I would encourage you to turn the other cheek. If you retaliate you are giving them what they want, but ignore them and they will slowly start to disappear.

Keep on doing good despite the evil you see around you!

Where's the compassion? Have you checked behind the fridge?

But seriously, I agree. You just have to accept the fact that there are people here asking and answering questions with the sole intention of insulting others.
