I always sit with my arms crossed whether I am at home or in a meeting. Its a habit more than anything, but with managers taking classes on posture, she says that I am negative and have an attitude and that we dont need those kind of people in her employment. I am for a loss. Please help

I do understand you. Well, I think that it is not a sign of negative attitude, that can signify a state of boredom. Have you tried to speak with her in an utmost open and convincing way? If yes, then you need to be more persuasive and to propose at her attention stronger arguments. Do Not give up!
Try to show more interest in the work matters and put more initiation. If you need to be an actor and your job is worth for you, play..

Hope that helps!
Wish you luck!

well, if I was you..when I had a class with her... I would keep my arms uncrossed.....and if she pisses you off to much ..you could ask her why she is working..anyone one with her talent ,of reading minds, should be lounging on easy street ,rather that teaching people how to hold their body parts.....

It's not boredom, but those who study body language would say that you are "closed off" and "unreceptive" to what is being said.
