I know exactly what you mean. Well, here's my opinion:
Body cells require a reason to live. When we emotionally get hurt, heart cells feel sad & lonely, almost meaningless; so they suicide.
That's probably not true in science, but that's what I believe since emotions are not truly subject to science.

helo hope it will not hurt u...................................................................................................the things hurt u becoz u do possess something called emotions and the less emotional u r ; the less hurted u wil be...but remember being emotional is more a blessing than a curse becoz a heart can never experience real happiness until it has experience the pain i.e. it experiences the experience of being emotionally hurt..... well the pain is the real form of panacea particularly wen the pain comes from love!

beagled when we fall in love it with our heart and sold and that when it get hurt our heart aches

nice question. i.. uhm.. i also can't explain it..
maybe because when we really love someone our heart aches, but when its just someone, it doesn't matter.
