I am an everton supporter who is looking for "once a blue always a blue" in chinese (traditional) as I want a new tattoo. I got the following off an online translator but I would like it confirmed

Hi I think it's a close translation, but it translated "blue" very literally. what it really says is "once it's blue (colour) it'll always be blue (colour)".
What you might need is a translation for Everton - I'd put it as "blue team". I'd recommend a slightly modified version:
一旦藍隊,一生藍隊
It means, once (you're part of the) blue team, (your) lifetime (part of the) blue team. The bits in parenthesis are implied, added so that the sentence makes sense in English.

"一旦藍色總藍色"means nothing in Chinese. It's really hard to translate it directly. So I translate it as "生為藍軍人 死為藍軍鬼" This means, "I was born to be a blue, when I died my spirit will still be a blue" It's just one problem. In China "藍軍" is refered to two teams both Everton and Chelsea. I hope this won't bother you. Maybe you can just take 埃弗頓(Everton) as the tattoo.

藍色 = blue color; 一旦 = 1 daytime; 總 = always, I suppose. I know Japanese better than Chinese. But I did check blue in a Chinese dictionary. 藍It is blue! I like 一生 better one life nice! 一旦藍色一生 藍色 Maybe she is good advisor.
