Go to the Nuuanu Pali Lookout. The most fabulous view you have ever seen and very historical. Go the few steps down to the old road you can see below, and lean into the very strong wind. It will hold you up! Lots of fun. Then, take a walk down that road for a little while and see how lovely the views are from there. Take a ride to the Byodo-In Temple on the Windward side of the island. Leave a small offering at the bell when you ring it. Wander around the grounds, take your shoes off and go inside the temple. Take a city bus around the island. You see the huge waves for surfing, the pineapple plantations & a lot more for cheap. . .
