It makes absolutely no difference whether someone is Christian or not. It's sad, but it's the truth. Racism will NEVER die, "oppressed" people will ALWAYS have the card stuck in their back pocket to pull out whenever something goes wrong. That goes for any race by the way, not just black people.
It's a fact of life and we all have to live with it. My great-great-great grandchildren will be dealing with it just as much as we're dealing with it today.

And you don't think that there is equal, if not, more hostility from white people towards black people?
It probably does make a difference which country you look at. Violence statistics should show that the minorities in society commit the least crime as a percentage.
This must mean that in the USA where black people are a minority, there is far more white crime.
If you look at a place like South Africa, white people are the minority and therefore naturally there is far more black crime.
I am white too by the way - just open your mind and your eyes and don't follow what others may say.

Well those that do that think that whites are racist but in truth they are the racist themselves. Some also think that whites are weak, not having to experience the toils of slavery. While others out there believe in reverse racism.Thinking that if other races, accidentally or not, prioritize or help them, means that they are put first because they are black.
However look at another perspective. Back then the whites have been cruel to them often leading the majority of the black people on the lower class on todays unwritten social caste, they still bear a grudge against the whites for leading them to this faith. But dont fret. The death of racism has just begun in the 90s so its a little early. Wait for awhile, soon those barriers will be destroyed. Soon the humans will be one.

Because whites still have hostility towards blacks. There is still prejudice towards blacks and unequal opportunities in terms of education, housing and jobs. The way that blacks have been treated and still are being treated mean that there will always been a certain wariness. What has been done can never be undone which technically means blacks should forgive and forget but that would be if the illtreatment had been eradicated. As it hasn't the hostility remains.

Yes, we should all try to love one another regardless, but I think it's a natural caution with other people who are not like us - different from the people we grew up with, feel comfortable with.
I wouldn't call it hostility, and it's not just about the colour of someone's skin, could be a disability or looking different too, or from a different background; it's just that we feel more comfortable with our own people. Greater knowledge of other cultures and becoming friends with individuals from other races is the key to understanding, tolerance, and eventually acceptance of others.
Do you attend church with your black acquaintances? I'm sure they would accept you after a while. The problems you describe could easily translate to a townie going to a village church. Been there!

May be we need to close the gap between black and white. A black man who is wealthy tries to isolate from fellow blacks and sees himself as white. It is about financial muscles and in reality most whites are wealthier that blacks. It could be because of colonisation and exploitation if you do agree with the past history. The envy is there. Being christians may not be a solution but sharing the wealth can be a solution.

The issue is not about religion but is all about JUSTICE, blacks are only trying to be defensive and defensiveness should no be taking as racism, also injustice never die in the society in-terms of inequality, exploitation of the black nations, looking at black as inferior even when you are contributing more to the society. These are few from all what white can do to eradicate grudges. Moreover, is not the issue of forgiveness bc you can only FORGIVE those who REPENT and FORSAKE their evil way but forgiveness is not for those who REPENT but CONTINUE with their evil way. Where there is injustice there will always be war. the truth as just been said

over a hundred years ago, both blacks and whites attended churches, but blacks were submissive to whites out of fear.
The great society changed all that and elevated blacks to what Martin Luther King preached. A society where a person can earn his way up the ladder just like you and I can, which is not too well either.
Now blacks are exercisizing their new found power. They have become so good at looking for racism as an excuse for their condition in life, that they see it everywhere. I hate to be so blunt.
Most whites don't think about blacks any different than they do other whites today. We are too focused on trying to keep things going that we don't have time for each other.
But blacks are focused on whites, trying to erase any thought in peoples minds about the color of their skin.
I preach and teach, and in the process I have told men and women of both races, that the blacks come from Cush, a son of Ham. Cush means black. Hams other sons were not black, but Cush was black. Cush played with the sons of Japheth, whose descendants were the white skinned peoples, and the sons of Shem whose descendants were Jews.
Ham, Shem and Japheth were all sons of Noah and were on the ark with Noah during the great flood.
If you talk to a lot of black kids, they are involved in the drug market and say, why would I want to work for a white man, for $75.00 a day when I can bring in thousands of dollars every week in the drug market. Now, I am not saying that every black child is in the drug market, but some of those who refuse to adapt are.
Like you I am just being blunt, its time to get over it.
Probably about 75% of the white people find themselves struggling every day to survive in this day and age, it is not a black thing. We all have to do it, unless we were born with a silver spoon in our mouth. Only about 3% of our population are born into wealth. Much of what we call the middle class are just a little above the poverty line.

Coloured people aren't the only ones who dislike white people, it is the same both ways, if you have read up on the Knight's KKK lately?
And not everyone, either couloured or white person is of the same religion, and not every coloured person has a hostility toward white people, so i think you should try some more research before asking these types of questions.

That is a sweeping statement - we are not all Christians!! I am a white spiritualist. I think it is a cultural thing and also goes back to times when blacks were slaves - it is deep rooted and nothing seems to shift it. There seems to be an inbred belief with blacks that we see them as inferior and they are on the defensive. I might be wrong, but this is just my thought that it could be.
