Yes, but seabass is such a general term. It could mean a lot of different fish that are not even closely related, and do not taste the same. So it might vary in taste. The ones I eat I caught off Californias coast. Their either Sand or Kelp Sea Bass. I steam it with soy sauce and green onion and ginger. Its a chinese style. I guess you could google these words to get a recipe.

Sea Bass is a very generic term which encompasses a lot of different fish. The one fish it doesn't encompass is the Chilean sea bass which is actually something called the Antarctic toothfish and is danger of being over -fished to the point of extinction.
I have access to just caught striped bass and I make it Greek style .I bake it with capers, sliced Kalamata olives, thinly sliced red onion rings and thinly sliced lemon slices. Like all fish if it's completely opaque when you take it out of the oven , you over cooked it.
