Do not be stingy. It is true that drug companies do give expiry dates much earlier for our own safety in case we take the medicine unknowingly after the expiry period. But it does not mean that we should take it for granted and use the medicine because not only it may not work it may cause adverse effects also.

Not for six months but for a month it's safe. Most OTC medicines get weaker after the expiration date so you can still take them but they won't be as effective, don't take more then the package says though, you could end up taking too much and making yourself sick.

The effective of the medication will grow stronger or weaker, dependent on what sort of medication is taken.
The best is not to take the expired medication and consult a doctor for fresh batches.

It's safe, but cannot work as good as before.
Except for liquid medicine, though.

I think they get stronger and some get weaker so they will not be the same
