religion is not only thought
you can see god everyday in his miracles
its somthing which exists
which you can feel and see
religion is a way to thank god for his gifts and worship him

It's extraneous thought used as a defense mechanism. I won't say that religions like Christianity are completely untrue but I do believe some of it (religion) can be beneficial to society.

Religion is the system by which we regulate our lives. Strictly speaking, religion has nothing to do with spirituality. One can jog religiously, read religiously, or pray religiously. Traditionally, religion was a cultural system of guiding and regulating the behavior in ones life toward a specific platform of spirituality. Now, of course, religion is simply a term used to describe someone's personal beliefs about spiritual matters, and denotes a specific belief in a God or Gods, or a superior force, such as nature.

Not all religions are scriptural. Some very enlightened persons are scientific in their approach to metaphysical existence.

It's extraneous thought that generates $3 billion a year in tax free donations. Look at how many are riding on it's band-wagon.
