I believe that 3sum relationships can be about more than just the sex,However it will not last long because someones going to end up wanting to be the only one and jealously issues will arrive.

It can happen but it's so rare as to be nearly non-existent. By long term I mean more than two years. They almost always break up much faster than that, because one of the three people becomes jealous or feels left out or decides that they want to be alone with one of the other people. But these relationships can also be quite intense and loving while they last.
If you want to do a Google search for a lot of information about threesome relationships, type "polyamory" into your browser. That is what it's called ("poly" means many, "amory" means love).

What happened to the bible? To the old fashioned love for one another and doing the most romantic things for each other. 3 somes never work. You must be mad to imagine they can work. Sex itself is disgusting and you want to know if they might work? Get a life and change the way you think. Its pathetic anyways.

It's very difficult to keep three-way relationships balanced so that everyone is kept happy. Sooner or later, folks will have favorites and it'll become obvious. From there, it's just going to go downhill.
I suspect that polygamy is more stable.
