I am working now and I am under 18. I earn about $500 per month. So does my income would be added to my family's incomes?? Or if I am a full-time student, my income does not count. 'Cause my family have Medi-Cal. I am afraid if I work, my family's income would go over the income limits for Medi-Cal.

My family has 3 people. My father earns $500/ month. My mother earns about $600/ month. My income is $500/ month.

please help!!!

You must file your own tax return; you cannot add your income to your parents' tax return. Ignore the IDIOT that says juveniles aren't taxed in the US. Tax liability is based solely on income. There are infants who have to file tax returns.

You'll have to check with the Medi-Cal authorities to see if your income affects your family's eligibility for benefits. How you file your return won't matter; they're only interested in the total family income in most cases.

juveniles (under 18) cannot be taxed in the US, therefore, you are exempt from having to report your income.
