Note: This is a true article that was printed in a newspaper
There was an atheist couple who had a child. The couple never told their daughter anything about the Lord. One night when the little girl was 5 years old, the parents fought with each other and the Dad shot the Mom, right in front of the child. Then, the dad shot himself! The little girl watched it all. She then was sent to a foster home. The foster mother was a Christian and took the child to church. On the first day of Sunday School, the foster mother told the teacher that the girl had never heard of Jesus, and to have patience with her. The teacher held up a picture of Jesus and said, "Does anyone know who this is?" The little girl said, "I do, that's the man who was holding me the night my parents died."

It's not true. Enjoy your little fantasy, though.

Ok, you can read either of these answers.
Scroll down for the honest one.
Keep reading for the watered down one.
I think the claim of a five year old is hardly any significant evidence to prove the existence of a higher being, more over disprove the world of Science.
Honest opinion:
That's a pile of bull.

(rolls eyes). I'll go along with others unless you cite a source.
This, like so many similar fabricated stories, doesn't bode well for Christians as honest people.
Frankly, I know of not a single atheist that would try to pass off or accept something as preposterous as this without evidence. Does that make atheists more honest than Christians or just less stupid?

You really believe that this proves Jesus's existence? Hallucinations and delusions happen, you just can't go around believing every one of them.
For example, I say that I've got an invisible friend name Jack. He's sitting right here! I'm hugging him right now! Therefore, Jack the invisible friend exists.
Does this argument convince you that Jack exists? Of course not. It's a terrible and unreasonable argument. Now maybe you'll understand why your argument sounds stupid.

lol. Have you ever watched tv? Well, I bet she has too. Kids aren't stupid you know but they are naive.
Besides, who says there wasn't a man at the hospital that was tall and thin with a mustach that was holding her?
Honestly, you Christians will do anything to prove your religion right even when there are rational explanations for whats happening.

I'd like to see a source for the article, since everyone pretty much agrees these days that most pictures of jesus would be inaccurate.

I think you should find the news paper name and post the article before posting something of this nature or your just going to get flamed.
