they don't stay with the kittens all the time. Just make sure she goes back and that the kittens stay warm. One more thing, be a responsible pet owner and get her spayed. Not only do we not need to be adding to the over population of cats and dogs, but it is much healthier for her, and keep her inside, outdoor cats only live 5 to 7 years. They get into fights, get hit by cars, abused and get diseases. Go to the hsus.org website to learn more and for ways to keep cats happy indoors. I just lost my 20 year old, he was an indoor cat and was happy and healthy.

Just keep an eye on the kittens and make sure they don't get to cold.. Mom may just need to eat and use the box. Or she may be feeling unsafe and looking for a place to move them where no one will bother them. Try not to handle them to much for the first few days. Let mom settle in a bit . She is VERY young to have had a litter and just may not know what to do. It would be best to take her and the babies into the vet to make sure all is good. And while you are there see about having mom spayed as soon as possible there are tons of kittens/cats dieing every year... no need to add to it!

you have a very irresponsible attitude to this. A 7 month previous is a KITTEN. a newborn cat. might you enable a 10 12 months previous human to bypass out and characteristic a toddler? No. besides the undeniable fact that they may well be bodily waiting to get pregnant it does no longer propose they're bodily waiting to have kittens starting to be in them after which supply delivery, as they themselves are nevertheless starting to be and maturing. it extremely is extremely risky!! Now, all i can declare is optimistically your cat could have a efficient delivery. And be it on your head if her kittens die. Then, once you cat has had time to recover from the delivery get her all the way down to the vets and get her spayed. or you fairly do no longer need to own that cat. there's no excuse for irresponsible possession.

Just keep an eye on them to make sure everything is ok, and she'll know when to come back from her motherly instinct as she might just have needed a break as she is quite young.

This is normal because she is so tired. 7 months is so young to understand her responsibility. Get to the kittens, gently rub & massage until they cry. Mama's can't hardly resist hearing her babies cry. You may need to lay there with them & her, so she can see "IT"S OK,THEY LIKE EM', SO I GUESS I WILL TOO'". Good luck, get her spayed as soon as you can. She'll be a much healthier pet.

She will care for her young when needed, she just needs a break from caring for them. If you see she isn't with them as much as she should be, encourage her to care for them by keeping her with them and showing her your approval.
Good Luck.

Thats because she was too young to be a mother. She should have been spayed. You probably are going to have to bottle feed those kittens now and please spay your cat after these kittens to avoid another disaster.
