Yes!!! before you can obtain eternal life, you need to obtain salvation. How to receive Christ:-

1. Admit your need (I am a sinner)
2. Be willing to turn from your sins (repent)
3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave.
4. Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Receive Him as Lord and Saviour)

If you decide that you want to receive Jesus, prayer the following prayer:-

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Saviour.
In Jesus' name. Amen.

If you prayed this prayer, the Bible says:-

Romans 10:13 So then, "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Ephesians 2:8 God saved you through faith as an act of kindness. You had nothing to do with it. Being saved is a gift from God.
Ephesians 2:9 It's not the result of anything you've done, so no one can brag about it.

One more thing, when a person acccepts Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour, the angels in Heaven rejoice!!!

God Bless You!!!

Do you realize that you won't live eternally?
Do you realize that you don't have a soul that nobody can kill and you can't preserve it by doing voluntaritly the Will of the One True God that doesn't exist?

There is as much evidence of a soul and/or a god as evidence for fairies, unicorns and Santa.

Why do children believe in Santa? Because they've been told about Santa and they really want Santa to exist. Reality is reality, it doesn't care what you want. Santa doesn't exist.

Now read the above three sentences again, changing the word Santa to God. See what I mean?

My religion has has the eternal soul in mind much longer than yours. We know where it goes and what it does after death.

And I love your One God statement. We have had the single power for about 3500 years. That give us 1500 years on Jesus, and his stake to the claim.

BTW - I'm Druid.

I do not wish for eternal life nor will I live forever. If you seriously think you are immortal than you will be in for a surprise in the future.

And no, I will not do the bidding of your God. I don't believe in having a slave/master relationship like that.

Waiting for after death to find heaven is turning your back on the earth.

We need to make HERE our heaven.

We can prove that that stuff of your body will be here after your human life ends. The same stuff that makes up you now and was part of the world before.

So let's make the earth a good place for us now, and for everyone in the future.

It's a nice fairy tale. I prefer Peter Pan, it motivated me to learn to fly and to join the Air Force many years ago.

If you do believe in fairy tales, talk to your doctor about Zyprexa (use only as directed).

Eternal life is a gift of God. Paul taught, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Rom. 6: 23). The only thing man earns is death, salvation cannot be earned. If eternal life were earned, it would then be a payment, Paul reasoned (Rom. 4: 4-7). Even "works of righteousness" are not the primary source of our salvation (Tit. 3: 5). After saying this, allow me to point out that implicit obedience to the word of God is absolutely required in order to go to heaven. Of Jesus it is said, "Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; and being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him" (Heb. 5: 8, 9). Man's humble obedience to God's terms of accepting his grace is not tantamount to earning salvation.
