is there a site that has speaker serial numbers but no makers name or what ohms,wattage they are

Look for a name on the frame or anywhere obscure, try putting the numbers you have into Yahoo. I did and found details of my 18 year old Vifa's! The impedance you can measure with a miltimeter.
